The 1000 Series aluminum alloy plate is commercial pure aluminum, so it is highly chemical and weather resistant. It is malleable enough for deep drawing and welding, but low strength. Often used in chemical processing equipment, light reflector, jewelry, etc.
The 3000 series aluminum alloy sheet is stronger than the 1100 while maintaining the same formability and low cost. It is corrosion-resistant, weldable and is commonly used in stamping parts, spinning and stretching parts, mailboxes, cabinets, water tanks, reflectors and fan blades
The 5000 series aluminum alloy sheet is much stronger than the 3003, while still maintaining good formability. It has high corrosion resistance and weldability. Common applications include electronics, tanks and pressure vessels.
